Using Background Effects in Adobe Photoshop

Hi! This is Kyle with Expert Village. I’m going to give you some tips on using Photoshop. Okay now, let’s say for instance you want to do the background, now what you’re going to do is say, “well this looks a little flat” you want a little dimension to this background. Now since you have a layer on top of it, say if you I button, then you really don’t have anything there. So what you’re going to do is you want to do one or two things, either you want to take the marquee tool here, right click in the spot to where you want to start and you can go across to where you think you have it lined up. You can it that. Now the thing is if you hit the delete button right here, it’s going to just delete so you don’t want to do that. What you want to do is you go back up, edit, undo clear.
