Chair Massage vs. Table Massage

Hello, I am Cherie Krieger and on behalf of ExpertVillage.com. My lovely studio is located in south Austin, my business name is Tension Tamers Massage and I can be reached at 512-657-3457 or starrynova@yahoo.com. The difference between chair and table massage is quite a lot. With chair massage, the therapist is basically able to work on the upper half of the body, the shoulders, the neck, and the head. The therapist can get a little bit of the lower back, but due to the position that most clients are sitting in the chair with, the muscles are too tight and too taut to work on down towards the hip area. So mostly, it is upper back area, arms, hands, head and once again upper back and neck. With the table, all parts of the body can be worked on equally. With the table, the therapist is able to put more pressure down onto the massage for the client and is able to do a lot more in variety because the therapist is able to reach the entire body on the table. Whereas with the chair you cannot reach the legs or the feet well.
