My name is Leslie Moselle, and I'm from Tampa Florida, and on behalf of Expert Village this is how to shop for groceries on a budget. Beware of sales tricks. Grocery stores know how to get you. They put those fancy signs saying two for one, buy one get one free, making the consumer believe that you're getting a great discount, when in reality you're not. Take a closer look at those discount sales items that say two for one, or buy one get one free. If you look at the fine print, it's actually the same price that it would be if you bought it individually. You buy a two for one item, or it says two for five dollars, buying one of the items is actually two dollars and fifty cents, which is really not a sale. You're actually just buying two of the same item. This usually causes you to have more items in your refrigerator or in your pantry that are going to spoil. You end up wasting your money in the long run. So be careful for sales tricks. If they really are sales, then fine, these are great deals for when shopping on a budget. But just make sure to take a closer look, and that you're really getting a sale.
