JUSTIN VAN ZANDT: My name is Justin from the YMCA on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip, I'm going to teach you how to kickflip body varial. It's a kickflip. You're going to want to get in the kickflip motion but it's also you're turning your body while the board is flipping. First step is setting your feet up in a kickflip position and you want to put your back foot in the middle of your tail and your front foot a little bit on the board right below the bolts. And you're going to start to pop and while you're popping, you're going to flip like a kickflip. And once the board starts to flip, you're going to turn your body sideways 180 and land back on the board with your body doing the 180 and the board doing a kickflip. The board's going to be flipping and while it's flipping, you're going to jump and turn 180 on your board. When you're popping, you're going to side your front foot up like this and curl it so that it catches the board, scoop it, and flick out so that the board does the kickflip. And while it's flipping, you just spin your body 180, just your body, and come back with the board after it stops flipping and land.
