How to Housebreak a Puppy

Hi! This is Elise McMahon with Expert Village.com and in this video series; we are talking about puppy care. If you would like to find out more about my services, you can visit my website at www.canineheadstart.com. So in the last of the video clips we were talking about puppy care, we are going to talk quickly about housebreaking. We have had this puppy out for quite a while, she has eaten, she drunk water, she has played with toys, she has chewed on things and she needs to go out now. One thing you want to be aware of is that a young puppy does not have the ability to hold their bladder and their bowels to the same extent that an older dog does. What you want to keep an eye out for is when your puppy is starting to wander around and look for a spot that they would like to go and you want to get them outside quite quickly. That is the key; the first step to housebreaking is keeping an eye on your dog and getting to know your dog’s schedule a little bit. I know she has not been out in a couple of hours, and she was starting to wander around, so I want to go ahead and take her outside for a pee and stay on track with the housebreaking. So we will see you later for another series. Let’s go Raven. Want to go outside and go pees?
