How Often to Water your Bonsai Trees : Tips Watering Bonsai
It’s important to water our bonsai everyday. When we talk about watering, we talk, really, about watering them very thoroughly. You can see here I have a really fine water nozzle which is important to keep from washing bonsai soil away from the top of the pot. What we do, I like to water the whole plant. Top part of the plant. For one thing, certain insects do not like to be wet, so from watering the whole plant we discourage them from taking up residency on our bonsai tree. And we’ll do this kind of watering about once a day. In the summer time when we have really hot days and really high wind I’ll come out in the evening after supper and water them one more time. Just like this.
