How to Grind the Welding on a New Car Trunk

Hi, I'm Doug. I work with 20 great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods and we're going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. Now Alex is grinding his weld. The weld sticks up a little bit when you add the new metal to it. He's grinding off the rough edges of his new weld so we have a nice, finished surface to seam, steel and paint. You are trying to make the trunk look as original as possible. You don't want to have any ugly, old work showing. So we're just cleaning it up really carefully.
