How to Remove a Car Trunk Body Mount

Hi, I'm Doug. I work with 20 great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods. We're going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. There are the rubber mounts under there. Beautiful! So, part of what comes out is there is an old bolt here that used to attach all of this to the frame. A couple of rubber bushings that isolate the body from the frame of the car. Now Alex is digging out some old seam sealer. Where ever two pieces of metal are joined in a car, they seal with bultel rubber to keep the water from getting in to isolate vibrations. To make things look cleaner.
