Hi, I'm Doug. I work with twenty great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkin's Custom Hot Rods, and we're going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. Before Alex began cutting the line, he cleaned all of the old tar, undercoating, rust, and all the stuff that would impede an electrical current. You also have to grind a piece of steel very clean that's in your cutting area for the ground tool to get good contact. You want to make sure that you don't have anything flammable in your work area. It's very easy to start a fire with the red hot sparks that come off. Alex has a compressed air hose on hand so that he can blow out most small fires that he starts. He also has a regular fire extinguisher on hand. As part of the trunk floor repair, the body mounts that are attached to the floor, and the fuel tank supports will be replaced at the same time. We start with cutting the floor out, because it has the body mounts, and the tank support mounts welded to it. It all comes out as one piece.
