Hi, I'm Doug I work with 20 great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods and we are going to do some work for your today on Expert Village. The next step when doing a repair of a small chip is you have to fill the chip with polyester body filler. He is using a razor blade to apply the filler. The razor blade is the easiest tool to come by it is brand new, clean, straight, you would not have any problems with it. The filler he is using is a really fine grain tact mixed with polyester and there is several different grades. This is the finest grade cause we are not filling a big crash, we are not filling a big sanding scratches but little tiny chips that we are filling. He is putting as little filler as possible cause the more that you put on, the more you have to sand off. If you sand too much, you change the shape of the piece.
