Shading the Forehead: How to Apply Stage Makeup

Hello! I am Monte and today on behalf of Expert Village we are going to be talking about makeup for the stage. Now we are going to talk about shading the areas of the forehead. For this particular application, I am just going to be applying shadow on the area right above the temples, right underneath this line of highlight that I have on either side of my forehead. It helps set the boundaries of the forehead so to speak, just put a line of shading there and then blend it downward on both sides. It is also an option to place shading like this around the half moon of highlight on your forehead. This sort of helps to really define the highlighted area on the top of your head. My forehead is already pretty defined so I do not think we need to apply the extra shading and when you are highlighting and shading on the forehead, you can do all sorts of things whether to change the width or narrowness or height of your forehead for instance if you want to. You would not even have to highlight this area at all instead you can highlight all this section here and the rest of the forehead which is foundation right now and actually put shading along the top here if you wanted to make your forehead appear much shorter by just highlighting a short section of it and then minimizing the shading on top of it. You can also widen or narrow your forehead depending on where you place these lines right here if you place them further end, it is going to appear narrow if you set them way back it is going to appear that your forehead is wider and much rounder.
