Hello! I am Monte and today on behalf of Expert Village, we are going to be talking about makeup for the stage. Now we are going to talk about shading the cheekbones. Its much like applying highlights on the cheek area. Now when you are applying shadows it is going to be a pretty large area that you are covering and the lines in it are going to be fairly soft and blended into each other without much definition. A good natural place to put the shadow on your cheek is put in the area where you naturally have a hollow in your face. You can accentuate the hollow on your cheek by doing something I just did with my face and… naturally create more of a defined line helping you decide exactly where you need to be defining the highlight and the shadow around the side if your face. Even though the sections of highlight and shadow on your face are larger and do not have as sharp lines as the other areas, it is important that the strongest highlight and shadow are right next to each other. This helps to define the two areas and that is how you highlight and shade your cheeks.
