Hello. My name is David Gelber. I represent the Hilo Ultimate Frisbee Community and I'm here to do a little talk on ultimate frisbee on behalf of Expert Village. Scoring in ultimate frisbee occurs when the team who has possession of the frisbee catches it in their end zone. A caught frisbee in the end zone will constitute one point. After the disc is caught in the end zone and a score occurs, the teams will then break apart, go back to the opposite ends of the field to their respective sides of the field, and then play will start again by the team that scored will pull the frisbee or throw the frisbee to the other side of the field, who in turn, those players will now catch the frisbee and they'll be on offense trying to come back and score the frisbee again in the end zone that was just thrown from. The games typically can be, in tournament play, generally go about thirteen or fifteen points, and there's usually a time cap on the games. So if the game is taking a real long time, a lot of times the time will expire before the amount of points is achieved for the game to be won and the team, when the time is expired the team with the most points wins.
