Shading Styles in Cinema 4D Animation

Hi this is John Carstarphen for Expert Village. The redraw function redraws and refreshes the scene usually Cinema 4D automatically updates view ports for you. Sometimes if you're working with a very processor intensive scene, you know, the redraw doesn't happen as quickly as you'd like it to so that's why this command is useful sometimes. And then when you click on configure this allows you to configure the view port. These set display parameters and all are customizable to your liking. There are several choices here, there are a number of choices here depending on what you're working on. The first choice is geral shading which shows a close approximation to the rendered view. The geral shading function shows you lights, objects and textures. So I'm going to add a texture to this object and so you see the lights come up and we can move the lights. And in geral shading you can actually see the effect that the light has on the object.
