Hi, this is John Carstarphen for Expert Village. On the far right hand side of this time pallet is another menu that helps you. Its just part of the time pallet and it helps you adjust the frame rate and the interpolation. The interpolation means, how smoothly, how smooth or how hard the animation moves through the scene. Right now, we have a pretty soft interpolation. You can make it a hard interpolation, you can kind of split the difference and make it medium and so forth. This manger shows the settings for the active tool. The settings will very according to the tool being used. So, right now, this active tool icon and we select it. We have what's called a live selection. This enables us to do some vertex painting or painting or selecting certain polygons. What I'm going to do here is select the cube. I'm going to hide the sphere. Select the cube. I'm going to remove the texture. Then I'm will make the cube editable. Meaning, it's now a polygon and so we look at the polygons by selecting this icon, which lets us, see polygons. This one will let you see edges. So we select polygons. Using the active tool we can select one side or the other of this cube.
