Hi, my name is Leslie Moselle, and I'm from Tampa Florida, and on behalf of Expert Village, this is how to iron a dress shirt. Chapter seven, cuffs. There are two different ways you can iron the cuffs of your shirt, depending on the look that you like, or depending on how you typically iron your shirt. For this shirt it is a dress shirt, so most likely you're going to be ironing from the shoulder, all the way down, and there is going to be a crease. So it's not a problem to keep your cuffs buttoned up and just ironing flat over the cuff. Another way you can iron a cuff if you do not like that way is you unbutton it, open it up, and iron from one end to the other, if you don't like that crease on your cuff. Just because I already have it opened here, I'm going to show you that way so I don't have to rebutton it. Just add a nice light spray of starch and just iron from one end to the other, making sure that you iron until all the starch is gone. This gives you a nice look for your cuff. There aren't any lines on the cuff, there aren't any creases. Some people aren't as picky about it. Then you can just rebutton it and we can iron the rest of the sleeve later.
