Importance of Picking the Right Eyeglasses

I’m Melissa with Woolenton Optometry for Expert Village here to tell you how to choose your eyeglasses. First I’m going to tell you why it’s important to choose the right pair of glasses. Comfort is the main issue that you have, you want to make sure that they fit you correctly, that they’re not too tight on the temples, you want to make sure that they, the nose pads can be adjusted to fit your bridge of your nose because if it’s too tight on your bridge then it’s going to cause headaches and or they’re going to slide and it just will not be comfortable for you. Also you want to make sure that the style fits your personality and fits who you are, the key is unless you’re going to purchase multiple pairs of glasses, to make sure that your find something both stylish and functional but maybe not too trendy since you will have to continue to wear these over the next year or two. Another issue is that you want to make sure that the frames fit your face correctly because if they are too wide, then the lenses will be too thick, also they’ll be heavier and you’ll end up not, they won’t be as comfortable as they could be.
