How to Label Antiques

Hello, I'm Statia Widak and I'm from Plainville, Massachusetts and I love collecting glass. It is my hobby. I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. Here are pieces that I have identified and I've put labels in them so I can remember the color, the design, so when I go off looking, then I'll know that oh, it's a design that I've already collected and I add to my collection. I have labeled most of my things so that I know what pattern, when it was started, when it was made. For instance, the pattern is Colorado and it's a US Glass 1897. And I also, if you notice, I put the page of the book that we took it out of. We have the Fenton, the silver edging here, this is a beautiful basket that they made. This basket is worth about $37. We have an old vase which is probably the beginning of 1927 by Fostoria. This would be their vase. This is Kenowa. Kenowa glass, they were a company that did very unusual things, unusual colors, unusual design. And we have more, this is the Georgian pattern by Fenton Glass, 1931-1942. And we have lovely candle holders in the amber color; very, very pretty. And these are about 60-70 years old. If you add every piece, the cheapest is $10, $15. And some of them go up to $40, $50. And some of these, let's see I don't have any prices on these, but they would be - cup and saucer would be at least $10.
