Introduction to Skydiving

Hi, this is J.P. Furnari with Expert Village. This clip will be about how to get in sky diving and what you can do with sky diving. Sky diving holds as many possibilities as you can imagine and there are just as many ways to get into sky diving, getting involved. There's static line that means attaching yourself to the airplane and having a parachute blossom moments after exit. There's accelerated free fall which means going out with a couple instructors holding onto you, ensuring you're stable throughout free fall and then assisting you with opening your parachute when the time comes. And then there's also tandem method. Tandem is probably one of the most exciting and easiest to get into, just a few minutes of training and you're on your way. A harnessed and experienced jump master will guide you through your first experience in the air and continue to help you along in learning how to sky dive. Once you learn to sky dive and you're an experienced sky diver there's plenty of opportunities. You can fly flat on your belly with your friends, building formations, all sorts of random patters. You can fly at 200 miles an hour on your head in sit-fly positions, again building formations with all your friends. You can learn to sky surf, you can jump wing suits like you've seen in the movies. You can do crew, which is flying your parachutes into stacks with other people or you can just go out hoping high and enjoy the sunset.
