How to Sell Homemade Jewelry

Hi This is Debra Windsong with Expert Village. In this segment I will talk to you a little bit about selling and selling kind of depends on your lifestyle, if you want to go out and do street shows with your jewelry, that is one way to do it. You can also do it online. You can also sell by word of mouth through an art gallery and then it just helps to have little cards made up and get the word around and show your pieces and actually put them on some of your friends too because that always helps when people see something that they like. I like to do a variety of pieces because not everyone has got the same taste by far. So if I want to be successful in selling I like to expand into different kinds of styles and different price ranges as well. When you are at a street show or even showing your work at an art gallery you will want to have a presentation that shows the same effect as if the person were wearing the necklace and so I recommend getting the little necks that stand. You will also want them to be sturdy because people will want to reach and maybe try on your jewelry. It helps to have a black covering on your tables and to spread your jewelry out and not crowd them so much so that people can see exactly what it is that you have to offer.
