Hi! I’m Tad Donley and I’m speaking in behalf of Expert Village. I’m giving you tips on how to make your own recording studio. Above this hearing tower, we have the actual insulation, the pink insulation that they use for sound up here and it is good stuff, so that helps and also this wall right here is just filled with that insulation. It has just got insulation at the wing wang I mean you could not get anymore in there, it is just packed so it helps keep the sound from coming out and what we are seeing right here is this is the practice place for the band practices, this is a warehouse, there you are. There is the tips, there is the easy way to do it, that is the smartest way, that is the best I could say. I want to thank you. Tad Donley, don’t forget the band Warrior. Have a good day.
Tad You should give it up dude! Of course your not reading this right now because your off trying out for american idol too, right? I mean really "It has just got insulation at the wing wang " what the -- is that... you missed your category it should have been how to make the perfect scotch!!!
Ahh, Colorstream... Heart, character, likability; those are all pretty subjective traits. And there are vagrants who have had experiences I couldn't dream about. The simple fact is that likability, character, and even biblical knowledge do NOT make you competent. And Tad is far from competent from a sound professional's standpoint. He has no legitimate knowledge in ANY of the areas about which he has posted. What would possess a grown man to publicly sound off on a topic about which he CLEARLY possesses no knowledge is beyond me. Those of you who are defending his competence obviously have no knowledge of the music industry whatsoever. This much I can say... Tad, you are REMARKABLY entertaining. But not in the way you'd hoped. I thought this was EXPERT Village...
-40 bucks an hour for equipment -1000 times better than the Beatles had on Sgt Pepper and 20 years of experience What a steal! Rock on Warrior! Love, The Avenger
I really like this guy he has heart character is down to earth knowledgeable and just likable. I bet he has had experiences you little faxs couldnt even dream about. Whoever calls another a fool is in danger of the fires of --, or don't you little ignoramuses know the most influential book on earth?

Good dig on finding his myspace page- I listened to his songs, on NS-10s. As much much as he praises tube sound- his songs do not sound warm and tape like to me at all. I've spend some serious time tracking on a Studer A80, I know what tape sounds like. It's just not there. His music sounds like it was tracked on budget equipment- now if you tracked on budget equipment and it sounded fantastic, then praise would be due. As far as insulation goes, he misses the mark on decoupling studs, baffles, NTC of different materials, and resonate frequencies. Tad- again, you've missed the mark.
this series of videos is really sad, sorry,it just sounds like this guy got drunk one night and reelled off a load of guff.It doesnt tell you much at all about how to set up a studio,I mean, how to sound insulate:"...the pink stuff that they use for sound insulation, the good stuff.....".......!!!????And yes Tad,I am a 25 year sound professional too
ROFLMAO, http://www.myspace.com/warriorrocks, Like a guy said before don't smoke crack or you will end up like this sad man. Have fun with his $40 hour studio :P
