Hello everyone. My name is Matt Fuller. This is Denise Bennet, my partner. We are the proud facilitators of the Light and Love Cafe. We are here on behalf of the Expert Village. All right, so now that we have most of our vegetables and our base for the soup all cut up and combined, the next step is to add whatever spice you might choose to add. In this case, Denise and I have chosen to add some Himalayan sea salt, some cayenne pepper, and some fresh cracked pepper. And this is a personal preference, and what we like to do is start with a small amount, put it in there, and then we actually taste our soup and see if we love it because we're the ones eating it and if we love it then great. If we need a little more spice then we put some more in. And so, what I would encourage you to do is to start small on the spices. Even try it now; I am actually motivated to try it now. So, as my body signals me to try it, I am going to follow that signal that my body gave me and that is something wonderful that is a gift that raw food has given me these signals that my body has given me. Would you like to try it first? This is a very big spin. That is fine, that is what I want. A little avocado in there. What do you think? It's good. Does it need spices? Yeah, I want to put spices in there. That is very good. So first I want to go ahead and add some Himalayan sea salt. Usually I do prefer to put this into a grinder, similar to this, so that the coarseness is diminished somewhat, so that it is incorporated in the soup a little bit more, however for now I am going to toss this in. Cayenne pepper is a very powerful spice and I do encourage you to go very light on this in the beginning until you get used to using this if you’re not familiar. So, I'm gonna go ahead and put a little splash in. I did basically two of these little taps with my finger and then I'm gonna take some fresh ground pepper and the coarseness is up to you. I personally like it a little bit coarse. So, I'm just using my pepper grinder to put a little pepper in there. Then I am gonna simply stir this up. And I haven't even tried it yet, Denise tells me that it is quite good so I am about ready so here we go. Mmm, my gosh. Mmm my gosh.
