Crackers & Artichokes as Healthy Snacks for Kids

Okay we are talking about healthy snacks and now we are right at where we can break open some artichokes from the refridgerator. Now if youve never had artichokes this is a pretty big bacth. we like to buy them in a larger quantiity because they are cheaper. Yo'ull notice sometimes ifyour walking thru the store in an isle and you buy the canned artichokes they get to be a little expensive. These are delicious, they happen to be marinated in oil and the kids absolutly love these. And what nice about them as I talked about previously is that you can leave them whole, now these happen to be quatered which means they have already been cut up into quarter size. Regular aritichokes you can buy whole in the produce section of the farmers market and bring them home and cut them up and cook them up yourself but who has time for that we are talking about quick so we want it to be quick and easy. With these they are quick and easy they are already cut and quartered and marinatied in the oil which gives it a better flavor. And again a rye crisp cracker works great for building these snacks , healthy snacks for these kids so here we have just the straight rye cracker with artichokes marinated that we have cut from the quarter size in half. The kids are gonna like that. And remember you can always add cheese. Always thin about starting with the basics and moving up from your base think aobut it like a pyramid. The base is your cracker and maybe you wanna put some humus on it like we showed before you could put the humus on and then the artichoke and tmaybe some cheese. There is another healthy snack crackers and marinated artichokes.
