Bonsai Garden Climate
Okay, let’s talk a little bit about what kind of climate protection our bonsai should have. Most situations we should give our bonsai some summer shade, as you can see here I have some shade cloth that I put up over my bonsai to give them some shade. The shade cloth comes down in the fall and we give them full sun all winter long. The plants that are outside, for the most part here, stay outside all winter long. And they will endure the winter. The plants that we have in our greenhouse, of course, stay in the greenhouse all winter long. And those are usually what we call indoor plants. Those are tropical or subtropical plants.
