Root Position of C Major Guitar Chord the top strings

To play a C Major in Root position on top set of strings, place your middle finger on the fifth thread on the third string. Your ring finger immediately below it on the fifth thread, second string. And then your forefinger on the third thread, first string. Your chord should sound like this.
