To play a B Flat Major across all sets of strings in 2nd Inversion, and then the A Formation, bar your finger across all sets of strings on the first thread. Then place your pinkie or your ring finger barring across the second, third and fourth strings across on the third thread. And then just play all of the strings. Your chord should sound like this. Another variation on this particular fingering is to place all three of your fingers on the third thread on the second, third and fourth strings and then bar on the first thread with your forefinger. I find that harder to do.
