This is just what I was looking for. I am wanting to teach a group of girls how to make some really cute flip flops. Could you tell me what kind of yarn you are using? Thank you for the video instruction.

Girl, you are awesome! Thanks for showing me how to do this!!!

How to Make Fuzzy Flip Flops

Now we are going to make flip flops. You can get any kind of pair you want, you can get leather, plastic, anything, bamboo kind I don't really care. But it does the exact same thing. If you have an old pair of flip flops or you just want to buy a brand new pair you can just do anything you want to do with it. You can get any different kind of string so you can go from this kind of flip flops to this. How much cooler isn't it? All you need is scissors, a crochet hook, flip flops of course and yarn. You can get any kind of yarn, this kind of yarn make awesome flip flops. Then you can mix two colors like this, you can double it so it makes it thicker or you can just use a single. So this is what we are going to be teaching, this is what I'm going to teach you next. So what you are going to do first you get your yarn, I'm going to use two today, and you put them together just like this. You are going to tie them on right here on the bottom of either side. I'm going to go on this side though. Just like a normal knot that you would do like this. Okay now get your crochet hook, you are going to wrap around it over and go under. Wrap it under, go over again, wrap it over, pull two out, wrap it over again and pull two out. That is called a double stitched. Okay we are at the end so what you do is grab your scissors and cut it about six inches. So like this, you wrap it around one more time, go under and pull through all the way and go like this. You go to the bottom of the flip flop back where we started and wrap it under so it is under like that. You pull it through so it is like doubled. And then tie a knot in it and it is done. Get your scissors and cut there you have a flip flop.
