Magic Card Trick Glide Technique

Hi! I am Brandon Nowasky and on behalf of Expert Village.com I am going to show you some more on card tricks. I will show a move right now called the glide. This move what it appears to be is you’re just pulling cards from the bottom of the deck, like so. So you have the ace of diamonds, once again if I start pulling, it looks like you’re pulling from the bottom; ace of diamonds is still there. The way this works is really simple. What you are doing once you turn your hand face down using these fingers to pull the card back. You want to get used to pulling at this angle; you can pull it at. Some people learn to pull it straight back, that is a little more obvious that way to the audience. If you learn to pull at an angle, just leave that little bit of spot for you to pull and your hand covers it up. That way when I am starting to pull cards from the bottom what I am actually doing pulling the second card from the bottom. This has many applications and we will go over a couple of them later on. One added thing that you can use for the glide is: if say you wanted to control, if you’re trying to keep a card on bottom while dealing it, what you can do is put it second from the bottom, this way; say I am trying to control the three of hearts. Turn the hand over, pull out the ace of diamonds and at this point, I will do the glide. So that way you can show the ace of diamonds; that will further convince the audience that you are pulling card from the bottom of the deck. In fact you are pulling second from the bottom keeping your card controlled and that is the glide.
