Hi, I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to show you how to setup a haunted house. Alright, so it's opening night at your haunted house and all the decorations, the actors, the prep work you've done, everything you set in motion is now ready to go. Odds are it's not. There is going to be some last minute craziness that is going to pop up. You are going to have a situation where you may have to deal with; fire safety inspection. Check the codes in your local area if any most types of haunted houses are going to have to go through some type of fire safety inspection . Often times they want to do this inspection right before your house opens, so they are able to see how exactly the house is finish format as possible is going to look and operate. You can have an actor that now has to work another job, they canceled out, try to account for these types of things. Give yourself some patting, some time to be able to react to these and try to come up with solutions. To try to get another actor for example, don't save all this for the last minute and give yourself about thirty minutes to opening just to assume that everything is going to work out just fine. This is a recipe for having a lot of problems that you are not going to be able to deal with which you are going to inhibit and hurt your haunted house. Also make sure you send somebody through your house to notify all of the actors right before the house is going to open. Maybe give a five minute or a one minute warning to let them know so they are ready to go when that first group of visitors come on through.
