Using the Web Clips Dashboard in Mac OS X Leopard

My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'll be showing you some of the new features in Mac OS 10.5 Leopard. Another feature I was going to show you about, as far as the Dashboard widgets, is the new web clip widget which is kind of neat. I'm going to invoke Dashboard. I'm going to hit F12. Click over here and add that widget. There you go. And click the Safari icon here to actually launch Safari. Alright, so my default start page is the Apple page, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to go to open Dashboard under file. Click on that and it adds a little window that goes around. What I want to do is see all of Apple's top stories every day. So I'll click on that, and make this I guess about this big. And there you have it. Once I find what I want, and you can actually move this around too. Like over here or wherever you'd like. I'm going to park it right here. Hit add, and it's going to load the click up. Unfortunately, I chose a clip that was way too big for my screen. And we'll movie it around here, and that's pretty much it. What will happen is as that is updated, it'll actually change on the webclips. So you could go to favorite sports box or you could go to your favorite headlines, or picture a day site and have a it automatically uploaded every single day. It's a pretty neat feature. You can have multiple windows open. You can fill up your entire desktop if you'd like. It's actually a really neat feature.
