A special demo for those of you who want to become UFOlogist. I claim that I can drive literally average straw right through this rock hard potato by saying the magic word. What I do is pinch the straw and says giheed. You see that? Let's try that again. Giheed! Giheed! Do you see that, do you believe that? The premise here at work is as follows. We're all surrounded by air which acts downward with a pressure of fourteen point five pounds per square inch. When I pinch the straw, I'm trapping air in it, converting it something akin to a nail. Giheed! It didn't work, alright. Let's try this one. Giheed! Now if I were to do this on the surface of the red planet, Mars where the atmosphere is much thinner, it would not work quite as well. Giheed! Contrary wise if I were to do it on the surface of Venus where the atmosphere's ninety times that on Earth, it would work even better. Giheed! Let's try that again. Giheed! Try this again. Okay, now you can try this at home during dinner preparation so it becomes a little more exciting. Still use the potatoes after you've impaled them with straws. Do you see that? I can't stop. Giheed! Giheed! Giheed! Do you see that? Do you believe that? Science in action. Again, it'd work better on the surface of Venus, not as well on the surface of Mars. And again, until next time, may the power of the cosmos be with you! Yes! Yes! Yes!
