I loved every aspect of that film. Great music, solid acting, the great script. Especially where he says, "Atomic age, the Stone Age." And it was realistic scientifically and in the very end, even the hero and heroine perished. With the Space Director ending by saying,"We'll begin building Rocketship XM two tomorrow." That man's spirit will not be defeated by the finding on Mars. Superb film. My all time favorite sci-fi flick. Now it's time to tell you how to become an UFOlogist specifically. First of all you should realize there are five basic kinds of close encounters. C E one is that where a UFO is spotted such as in the air, no contact is made. C E two close encounter, the second type, is where that UFO will actually affect something on the ground. Perhaps cause static on the radio, or t.v. Or in some way cause a physiological change on our planet. C E three, close encounter of the third kind, is where you actually see an ET. And of course, close encounter of the fourth kind is where you're taken aboard, where you're abducted or made contact. This could be, that was included as a C E three, is now called separately a C E four. And of course, those who have been abducted claim that often they're subjected to some painful physiological experimentation. However, others enjoy the encounter. And C E five, the least known, is where individuals actually try to make contact with a UFO, such as going to a site where there have been repeated UFo sightings. And you'll see groups of these people, some of them with flashlights, flashing up in the sky trying to signal the ETs to bring them down, so they can make contact. Now personally, I think I'd really enjoy making contact with an extraterrestrial. And if I saw a space craft landing, hopefully I'd run over immediately. But I have to be honest, you never know how you're going to react. Instead, if I saw that UFO landing, I might be the first to run, and run faster away than anyone else. You just don't know.
