Hi, my name is Lillian with Salon of Scottsdale and on behalf of ExpertVillage.com; I am here to talk to you and show you the body wand. We completed a Microdermabrasion procedure today on the face and neck and declatay area only using the round wand. The body wand as you can see the difference has a different shape, it is elongated and it covers more area. I had a lady the other day that came in and had some stretch marks that went all the way across her waist and back area. Well the reason that we are able to use the body wand in this area is because the skin in this area is less sensitive than the face and the neck area. So being that it is bigger does not necessarily mean that it is going to hurt more, it is just that we are going to use it in areas that are not as sensitive as the face. It could be used for stretch marks, also for minor burns and scrapes and minor surgery scars. Probably not a good idea to use it on the face, just the rest of the body.
