Post Microdermabrasion Procedure Skin Care

Hi, my name is Lillian, I am with Salon of Scottsdale in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and on behalf of ExpertVillage.com, and I am here to tell you how to care for your face after getting a Microdermabrasion treatment. Your trained professional, your doctor, your esthetician will always recommend a moisturizer and a sunscreen. First moisturizers, you should always use a good moisturizer because your skin is going to feel a little bit dry for a couple of day. And for a couple of days it is not recommended that you use a moisturizer that contains any alcohol or glycolic acid or alpha hydroxy. You should always use just a good, smooth, calm moisturizer. Nothing that contains mineral oil either because the mineral oil will clog your pores. And then after you applied moisturizer you should always apply a good sunscreen, a sunscreen that is at least SPF 25, no greater than 30, 25 to 35 is good. Make sure that it is both UVA and UVV protected. If you go out in the sun without using the moisturizers, there is a chance that you may get sun damage and the brown spots will increase. So a good rule of thumb is always, especially the sunscreen. Then you can apply your makeup if you are a woman, just do whatever you normally do, just make sure that moisturizers and sunscreens. Thanks.
