How the Microdermabrasion Machine Works

Hi, my name is Lillian with Salon of Scottsdale in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and on behalf of ExpertVillage.com, I am going to show you the Microdermabrasion machine and its parts and how it works. This is a diamond tone Microdermabrasion machine, it is a crystal free machine, it has a vacuum, the settings are from zero to 30, and the normal would be 10 to 15 for an average Microdermabrasion. This is the knob that allows the settings to go up or down and this is just the on/off switch. The machine comes with a clear hose where you can actually see dead skin go through the hoses and to the back of the machine into a filter. You attach a wand on there and you just lightly pencil back and forth on the skin on the area that needs to be treated. This diamond tone machine is a very popular machine because this machine is a newer type of machine that has very little down time. That is the basic machine, it weighs about 40 pounds, and you can actually carry it to different locations. The older machines were big heavy machines where you really needed two people to carry them and they have made them more compact and convenient for the people that have to carry them around.
