Serving Banana Bread

Hi, my name is Jessica on behalf of Expert Village and today I'm going to be showing you how to make banana bread. So now the banana bread has been in the oven for 50 minutes, we're going to go ahead and check and see if it's done. The best way to check and see if it's done is to stick a knife right through the center and you're just going to see if anything comes out on the knife. It's clean, that means it's done, if it wasn't done then you'll get some batter on the knife and you would leave it in there a little bit longer. So once it's ready you're going to want to take it out of the pan to cool. You're going to want to flip this over and it's not quite coming out so I'm just go around the edges with a knife and just make sure it's not sticking to the sides anywhere. You're going to want to cool it for about 5-10 minutes just to make sure it's cool enough to eat and then we'll get ready to serve it. To serve your banana bread you're just going to go ahead and slice off a piece and it's best served warm. You can also heat it up in the oven if you already cooked it, I like to put butter on mine, you can also put cream cheese, or whatever you like. It's really nice when it's warm cause it melts the butter a little bit and it really soaks up the banana flavor. There we go banana bread.
