How to Saute Celery & Onions for Turkey Stuffing Recipe

Hi my name is Lori with Figs Catering in Austin, Texas on behalf of Expert Village today we are going to show you how to make a entire Thanksgiving meal. Now that my sausage is all nice and cooked, I'm going to go ahead and take it off of the fire and I'm going to place it into my bowl. Then I'm going to use the same pan for my onions and my celery. One of the things that you want to take into consideration. If your sausage has a lot of fat in it, this one did not have too much honestly, but if it has a lot of fat in it go ahead and drain it to get rid of that excess fat. So put this back on the fire and I got my onions and my celery and I'm going to put those on the same pan. I got that in a medium high heat and we are just going to cook them to a nice light brown color and in about 1 minute of so I'm going to go ahead and add the garlic. If I add the garlic now it may brown so we are going to hold off in that.
