Green Bean Recipe
Hi my name is Lori with Figs Catering in Austin, Texas on behalf of Expert Village today we are going to show you how to make a entire Thanksgiving meal. We are now ready to finish our green bean and caramilized onion recipe. So I got my blanched green beans they are nice and cool and I'm just going to place them in my potter. You want to make sure whatever platter they go in is oven proof cause what we are going to do is right before dinner time we are going to put these in the oven for 5-7 minutes and they would be ready to go. So I got all my green beans all lined up nice and neat, I'm going to take my caramilized onions and I'm just going to put these right down the middle. Just like so. That is our green beans and caramelized onion dish. Now what you do want to make sure of is to test your green beans make sure they are salty enough, if they are not salty enough you may want to add a little bit of salt and pepper to your green beans. This dish is a really great dish it can be made ahead of time cause what we are going to do is just chill it and about 5-7 minutes right before dinner we are going to pop it in the oven and just serve it just as is. So keep that in mind whenever you are making your Thanksgiving meal.
