Adding Crust for Sweet Potatoes

Hi my name is Lori with Figs Catering in Austin, Texas on behalf of Expert Village today we are going to show you how to make a entire Thanksgiving meal. Our whipped potatoes have been in the oven for about 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees. I'm going to go ahead and pull it out and we are going to add the topping to it. Now I'm going to add the topping that we made for our sweet potatoes. I'm just going to gently put it all over the surface of the sweet potatoes, make sure you spread it out nice and evenly. And we are going to let it cook for about 10 minutes. The reason you want to put your topping on separately in the last 10 minutes of baking is because your pecans would burn.
