How to Oven Cook Sweet Potatoes

Hi my name is Lori with Figs Catering in Austin, Texas on behalf of Expert Village today we are going to show you how to make a entire Thanksgiving meal. For our whipped sweet potatoes we need to start off by baking our sweet potatoes so I have already and washed and dried my sweet potatoes. I'm just going to place them in some foil and simply wrap them up. And with my knife I pierce it with my knife let is vent out. Now what I'm going to do is place them in the oven for 350 degrees and let them cook until they are easy to poke with a fork that is going to take about 45 minutes to a hour and that is how you bake sweet potatoes.
