How to Add Garlic to Mashed Potatoes

Hi my name is Lori with Figs Catering in Austin, Texas on behalf of Expert Village today we are going to show you how to make a entire Thanksgiving meal. To get the roasted garlic out of your roasted garlic bulb all we are going to do is take our bulb and if you have any extra oil at the bottom of your bulb go ahead and dump it into the potatoes cause that is just extra flavoring and we don't want to loose that. A little bit of that extra oil. Now to get the roasted garlic out all I'm going to do is turn it over and just simply squeeze out the bulbs. You see how nice and easily they come out and it kind of already helps you cause it helps you start mashing the potatoes. Just be careful that you don't get any of the paper in the mash potatoes. Now here we are just using one bulb if you like more roasted garlic you can definitely use more roasted garlic. That is how you get the bulbs out of your roasted garlic.
