Sage Butter Ingredients for Cooking a Turkey
Hi my name is Lori with Figs Catering in Austin, Texas on behalf of Expert Village today we are going to show you how to make a entire Thanksgiving meal. The first step we are going to do is we are going to make the sage butter. To make the sage butter you are going to need about 1 stick of butter, some salt, some fresh ground pepper, and some fresh sage. Now if you don't like sage or you want a different flavor you can add a combination of herbs or you can add rosemary, thyme any of those flavors would work really well with our turkey. First I'm going to place my cut up butter into a bigger bowl, now I'm going to take a few leaves of sage and I'm just going to cut off the very tops right here, I'm going to roll them together and run my knife through them.
