Hello, I'm Robert Cheeke, president of Vegan Bodybuilding and Fitness based here in Portland, Oregon. Today, on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to do a tutorial all about vegan. In this clip, I'm going to talk about what I call vegan replacement foods. These are things like cookies, and milk, and ice cream, and everything, all done vegan, all without any animal products at all. So we have, this is for example, this is an almond milk. You could get this almond milk or a rice milk, they come in different flavors, vanilla, or chocolate, or a plain flavor, just like a regular cow's milk is but without the animal cruelty involved, without the animal foods involved. And you can add it with some cereal, there's some all vegan cereal too. So those are things that don't have honey, and refined sugar and any milk products, basically cutting out a lot of the garbage so you're getting healthier stuff anyway. And of course, some people's favorites, we have things even like Oreo cookies, you can get made vegan. This is without the gelatin, without the dairy, or whatever is in regular Oreo cookies, these are all vegan friendly. So again, these are things we don't necessarily suggest from a health standpoint, but as transitioning to a vegan diet, these are like comfort foods that people like, cookies, and if we check inside here, we've got all kinds of ice creams. And this is a pretty good size dairy free ice cream here. Some are soy based; some are rice based, so I've even seen hemp based ice cream up in Canada. And so you just pick out whatever kind that's even, ice cream sandwiches. So it extends beyond that. There's even a vegan pizza in the freezer down the road. So basically, these are what I would call vegan replacement foods for people who are transitioning from an animal diet to a vegan diet but still like those things like the ice cream and the pizzas. So it's available, you just have to look for it.
