Websites for Electronic Press Kits

The press kits online that we have been looking at are from Sonicbids. This website includes of 100,000 different press kits and information on getting gigs and promoting your band. You have to be a member in order to have a press kit on this website. If you do not have an electronic press kit on the website, you can have your own website. Going to my friend Taylor Excide, he doesn't have an electronic press kit, he has a website. It includes all of the information that would be included in a press kit, but does so in the form of a website. You can also use other forms of advertising for your group, such as MySpace. My friend Tess has her bio information and tunes that you can hear on MySpace. These are other alternatives to press kits. However, if you're going to be known in the industry and want to get signed to a big label, which will help you gain, money, advertising and distribution. Press kits are essential. They are great ways of getting gigs and getting yourself known in the industry.
