On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Gregg Tauriello. I'm from Sweet 16 Studio, and I'm here to talk to you about soundproofing for a recording studio. In this instance, I had a special area of my yard that I didn't want sound to go out into, and what I did was took a standard double pane window, here, mounted it on the outside of the building, and on the inside of the building, put another whole double pane window. Now I have two double pane windows here, and that really stops the sound. One thing you do want to make sure of is when you install your windows, be sure you caulk everything. Caulk is cheap, and it's really effective in soundproofing your studio, and stopping air, and it's good for heating and cooling too. Just seal every single little gap that you possibly can.
