Tips for Drying an Infant After a Bath

Hi this is Vanessa and Andrew on behalf of Expert Village and we are going to talk about drying your baby. So after your final rinse, which you already had prepared, you are going to want to go ahead and take your baby onto your towel. It can be a bit slippery so be sure you have their head really well supported. Lay him on the towel. They like to be dry, warm and snug so snug them up real tight as you are drying them. And with the end of the towel, make sure that you dry him really well and all the little crevices and little places under their neck really well, under their armpits and all those places where the skin folds. Make sure you dry that really well. Then you put the diaper on so that you don’t have a messy baby after a good clean bath. After your diaper you are going to want to put on lotion if you so choose and then new clean clothes. Make sure they are dry and ready for a feeding or for sleeping or whatever is next for your baby and that is drying your baby.
