Tips on Clipping Infant Fingernails

Hi this is Vanessa with Expert Village.com and I am going to talk to you about clipping your baby’s fingernails. What we are going to do this with is a little baby fingernail clippers. Now just clip the baby’s fingernail just like any other person’s fingers making sure you clip only the white none of the pink. We don’t want to make our baby bleed. The way that I like to clip their fingernails is with my teeth. It may seem a bit unorthodox and we don’t like to bite our own fingernails but this way I can feel what I am doing. It is much easier to do when they are nursing, sleeping. This way I can feel with my tongue and my teeth where the fingernail is, how much I am getting, how much I am biting off and that way it is much less likely I will hurt the baby.
