How to Play the D Minor Scale on the Tuba

And here we have D Minor in a two octave scale, played by Kevin. "I hate when my valve sticks"! Ah, see valves do stick. We are always constantly maintaining the oil and lubrication. There is oil that we use, which we will show you on certain maintenance issues that we put on our valves. We pull out the valves, and we put this little oil on, and it lubricates the valves. Occasionally, even when we're playing they stick and you'll hear a mistake now and then. We call them "clams", it's like...that sound, and you'll hear them if you listen to enough young children playing music.
