Now, if you want to get a little more serious about your paranormal phenomenon investigations. What you can do is you can acquire a digital recorder. Now, what you do with this is, during your ghost hunts you would actually start speaking as you would do on a ghost hunt and start asking questions. "Is there anybody here? What's your name?" etc.. And what you are looking to capture when you are using a digital recorder is EVPs. That is Electronic Voice Phenomenon. The analogy I use for this is like dogs hear certain sounds that we don't. Well the same way that you can't hear these sounds, the reason for that is is because you would be insane. You would be out of your mind. But when you use a digital recorder and you go back home and you download it. It is time consuming but you sit there and you listen and you listen. And it is a great possibility that when you asked the question "what's your name?" you just might get an answer. You might hear "Carl". Oh wow, that's Electronic Voice Phenomenon. You might get barking. You might get screaming, you might get a little child crying but you'll capture it on a digital recorder. Now if you want to get really serious about your ghost hunting you'd pick up one of these. This is actually a Trifield meter. What it is is an electromagnetic field meter. There are all kinds you can buy. You can buy some that will just pick up battery tests, microwave energy, magnetic energy, electric energy and radio signals. A Trifield meter, you can adjust to some that will disregard any electromagnetic energy from televisions, radios, etc. And utilizing this product it picks up electromagnetic energy that should not be there. And once the meter hits anywhere from 2.0 to 7.0 don't be frightened because this is what you are using it for. Start taking pictures in that direction. That's if you want to get real serious. This device can cost over 300 dollars. And you know what, well worth it. Because as soon as you take your digital camera and you get that one photograph with ectoplasm or an orb or some light energy in it you're going to be hooked.
