Now we have Peter on his stomach and what we are going to do is we are going to work on his back. Once again this is a very large area so what I am going to do is I am going to apply the shea butter to his back, connecting and kind of confirming which areas of the client we are going to work on. Once you turn the client over you have to relax him again because we are kind of back to the beginning stages. We are going to try to relax him and apply the shea butter evenly two or three times. Now there is a muscle that goes right along the spine and you want to kind of apply pressure to that and kind of release, apply pressure and then at the end you are going to release into the lower back and then come back the same way and release and go down the shoulder blades. That is a good way to start when you are on the back is to do that movement because that right there alone will relax your client and give you a better reference on what areas or what side of the back that you want to focus on first. So down the back release to the lower back and come right back up, out to the shoulders and to the ac joint which is the connection from the shoulders and his arms, a good point reference, it has to go somewhere. Massage is pretty much about muscle displacement so if you get to the point of release, that is pretty much where it is going to do. What we are going to do is to focus on one point of his back and hopefully release any type of tension he has.
